Jane is a woman in her late thirties still lives with her parents in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She can't keep a job, she can't stay sober, she can't stay out of trouble. Her therapist thinks a memory is buried in the past, and that she must remember in order to get better. But she would rather do anything else than talk about that party. Then she sees a picture in the newspaper of her car being dragged out of the lake. That car went in the lake 20 yrs ago.
